Increasing regulations and financial pressures make it a challenging time for schools and everyone in the education sector. That’s why you need specialist advisers to guide you on your rules and responsibilities and help you strengthen your reputation and your finances.
We act for over 100 independent schools, academies, multi-academy trusts (including diocesan multi-academy trusts), free schools and other educational charities across the country. They work with us because we’re knowledgeable about the issues they face and they value our timely, practical support and reassuring advice.
How we can help you
Our partner-led service means you’ll have a dedicated partner who will work closely with you to understand your ethos and objectives, and then provide practical solutions to help you achieve your goals through strong governance. They’ll always be on hand to advise, attend meetings and answer your questions.
Sharing our expertise in the sector
As leading advisers we produce benchmarking reports and governance surveys for AGBIS and work with ISBA. We run seminars and training courses for bursars, heads, governors and managers; and we also host the haysmacintyre annual independent schools’ conference, which promotes thought leadership in the sector and shares best practice. We can tell you how you compare with other schools and help you raise your standards too.

We commented on the financial impact and risks of the project for our client, the UK school, and the financing, accounting, tax and VAT implications and the matters to be addressed.
