Autumn Budget 2017: gains made by non-residents

For non-residents, the Autumn Budget 2017 was a curate’s egg.  Whilst the Chancellor expanded the reach of UK taxation to include gains made on commercial property by non-residents he also announced changes which will see, for some non resident property owners, a shift from income and capital gains tax rates to the, currently lower, corporation tax rates.
