Jon trained and qualified at haysmacintyre and his clients operate in the creative, media and technology (CMT) sector. He has extensive experience in working with entrepreneurial, scale-up businesses and understands the importance of regular communication backed by strong, sector specific technical expertise. He has managed an array of the firm’s creative digital and technology clients, ranging from privately owned companies to publicly listed groups.
As well as acting as the principal on audit engagements, Jon also manages a number of transactions for his clients within the CMT sector, including IPOs, acquisition due diligence, MBOs and trade sales. Jon has widespread experience working closely with clients as they go through a period of change, whether it be rapid growth, fundraising or an exit.
Jon is an active member of the CMT team and enjoys regularly attending sector specific events, including Angel Academe, Fintech Connect Live, Tech Week, The British Business Awards and Fintech Week amongst others. He leads the firm’s relationship with The Fintech Times and writes a bi-monthly column, representing both his interest in the technology sector and his knowledge of matters often faced by scale-up businesses and entrepreneurs.
Outside of work Jon enjoys most sports, including running, cycling, skiing, rugby, golf and anything adventurous.
