Network of Women Chairs Multiple sessions

View each event listed below for availability

The aims of the Network of Women Chairs (NWC) are:

  • To share experiences and learning through networking with fellow women chairs and vice chairs of trustees thereby improving charity governance.
  • To encourage:
    • Women from all ethnic and social groups, and of all ages to become trustees, chairs and vice chairs;
    • Members to apply to be chairs and vice chairs of larger and more high profile charities thus improving the gender balance in the sector;
    • Education, learning and sharing of good practice.

Membership

Membership of NWC (which is free) is open to women chairs and vice chairs of charities, and they can remain members for two years after they step down from the role. Members can invite guests to the Christmas Reception but not to ordinary meetings. Guests should be women leaders (chairs, vice chairs, board members, CEOs) from any sector or women who have the potential to be chairs and vice chairs. You may want to bring as your guest your ‘daughter’ ie any young woman (under age of 35 years) who has, in your view, the potential to be a leader.

If you would like to join NWC please send your name, role at charity, name of charity and full contact details (including email address and telephone number) to Sarah-Jane Broad at events@haysmacintyre.com. Alternatively, please download and complete the infopack and return either by email to Sarah-Jane Broad at events@haysmacintyre.com, or by post for the attention of Sarah-Jane Broad.
