M&A in 2018: What can be expected from tech?

'2017 saw extraordinary levels of M&A activity across the UK market with a total of 155 M&A deals, worth £30 billion, completed in the second quarter of the year.

UK domestic deals surged to a value of £50.3 billion, from £24.6 billion in 2016, with the number of deals between British companies jumping from 1,480 to 1,681, the highest level since 2008. This positive outlook is set to continue in 2018.
