haysmacintyre supports the acquisition of Struq and Quantcast
We are delighted to have recently supported Struq through their acquisition by Quantcast for an undisclosed sum.
We focus on supporting entrepreneurs to build and achieve their dreams. As the main sponsors of the Growing Business Young Guns Awards we met Struq when they were at early stages in 2009, shortly being appointed dedicated advisers in 2010. Struq is the leading Cross Device Retargeting and Ad Personalization Platform. They enable e-commerce businesses to increase their sales through highly-targeted, personalized remarketing and prospecting ad campaigns across display, video, social media and mobile channels.
The acquisition will transform both businesses as both have very different target markets, but as a group will transfer the ad market overnight. Struq, a young start up business, will emphasise the ways in which their technology can expand Quantcast’s ad platform into new markets across the UK.
Sam Barnett CEO at Struq commented, “I am delighted with the acquisition and the overall outcome for both businesses. As one combined firm the opportunity to provide services all over the world and to a diverse audience is profound. I have been grateful of the support Natasha Frangos and haysmacintyre have provided me and the business from 2010 to acquisition. Having business advisors who truly understand you is key to any entrepreneur’s growth and success journey. Natasha and her team have provided robust and accurate advice throughout and have provided reassurance for me, as preparing for an exit, financials are one of the most important things to get right!”
Natasha Frangos, Partner and Head of Creative, Media and Technology at haysmacintyre commented “ I was delighted to have been part of the journey, supporting Sam and Struq over the last four years to build such a credible and market leading business in the UK. This acquisition clearly demonstrates the power of the platform and the broad market spread Struq has developed over the year. This was a great outcome for both Sam and Struq.”
