haysmacintyre makes up three to partner
We are delighted to announce three new audit partner promotions. Lee Stokes, Tom Wilson and Jessica Powell who work in our charity, not-for-profit, hospitality and partnership groups, have all been promoted to partner as of 1st October.
Lee has worked in the charity and not-for-profit sector for 15 years and has a particular focus on independent schools and faith-based charities. He assists clients on a range of matters, from the recruitment of key financial personnel through to financial due diligence and fraud investigations.
Tom’s clients are drawn primarily from the Professional Institutes and Membership Bodies (PIMBs) sector, including clubs and national trade associations, where his expertise ranges from financial system and internal control reviews through to providing best practice advice on governance matters. He has a specific understanding of national governing bodies of sport and authors the firm’s well-regarded annual NGB benchmarking report and is a regular industry speaker on emerging sector trends and developments. Tom has been appointed partner having worked his way through the ranks since joining haysmacintyre as a trainee in 2008.
Jessica advises clients in the hospitality sector and partnerships groups and has had particular responsibility for growing the firm’s professional services client base. She supports her clients in a number of ways, from helping them navigate the full breadth of compliance matters through to advising on matters such as due diligence and management accounts.

The promotions follow the lateral hires of Trevor D’Sa and James Rolfe to the firm’s tax team in April this year. Trevor joined from SRLV as Private Client Tax Director, and James joined from BDO LLP to take up the role of Senior Business Tax Manager.
