haysmacintyre announces the appointment of Mark Shewring as partner
Mark joined haysmacintyre in 2004 where he trained and qualified in the audit department. He moved to specialise in business taxation in 2007 and has since focused on providing tax advisory services to our entrepreneurial clients and early stage businesses. He has particular experience in working with our Creative, Media and Technology and Property sectors clients and has a wealth of experience and knowledge on matters such as Research and Development (R&D) tax reliefs, venture capital schemes such as EIS, share option schemes and group restructuring.
Having started his career in audit, Mark developed an interest in tax and enjoyed advising clients on matters that affect them and their business. His background places him in an excellent position to be able to advise clients from both an accounting and tax point of view, providing them with comprehensive joined up advice. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CTA).
In his spare time, Mark is Chairman of and a regular player for an amateur football club and enjoys all sports. Also, Mark loves to travel, and took a five months sabbatical to see the world in 2014.
Mark was promoted to partner in April 2016.
