Ian Cliffe, a partner with the firm since 2001, is head of the audit and business support department and leads haysmacintyre’s fast growing corporate finance division.

Ian is a qualified ACA but is also a qualified member of the Institute’s Corporate Finance Faculty.  In addition to being a general practice partner offering general business and financial advice to his diverse client base, he also provides specialist corporate finance services/due diligence/transaction support to small caps, entrepreneurs and mid-market businesses.

Over the last few years, Ian has advised on a large number of both public and private transactions in the sub £25m market cap sector.  This has ranged from due diligence assignments, financial modelling and working capital projections, private and public fundraisings, group reconstructions and MBI’s/MBO’s to AIM/PLUS listings.  A significant number of these transactions have involved International Companies/Groups from a variety of countries including the US, Israel, Croatia, France and Germany to name but a few.  Recent public transactions on AIM include the reverse acquisition of an overseas leisure and tourism group and the listing of a US medical device group.
