Nigel joined the firm as a tax junior in 1988 and was made partner in 1997. Nigel started his career with HM Revenue and Customs giving him a knowledge and understanding of how it operates.

The areas Nigel specialises in are partnerships and Private Clients, where he advises on all areas of personal tax and trusts including inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax planning and tax issues relating to non UK residents.

Nigel contributes to both external and internal publications, in particular to technical updates produced by the firm and he speaks at internal seminars. His specialist knowledge in personal taxation advice, and personable attitude, means he is able to translate complex technical matters into basic English.

Qualifications - Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) 1994

Nigel is a keen golfer, enjoys travelling and is an avid follower of rugby.
