Bernadette joined haysmacintyre as a trainee in 1995 after studying Economics at University College, London. She qualified in 1999 and became a partner in April 2006.

She advises a wide range of clients and over the years that she has been with the firm she has worked with clients from many sectors.

Her clients are all in the corporate arena and many are owner managed businesses and growing companies across sectors such as property, manufacturing, marketing and recruitment.

A significant number of Bernadette’s clients are companies or LLP’s regulated by the Financial Services Authority. She has been working with regulated clients for ten years. Many of them are fund managers but she also acts for a number of corporate finance advisors, market analysers and intermediary brokers. She is a member of the ICAEW’s FSA Faculty.

Bernadette advises her clients on a range of accounting and tax issues. She makes a very conscious effort to keep in contact with her clients throughout the year enabling her to add value and proactively provide advice on some of the wider commercial issues they face. She is also very aware of the need to be available to her clients as a sounding board on the smaller issues as and when required.

When not at work Bernadette enjoys going to theatres, restaurants and she also goes running and power walking. She has completed the Moonwalk Marathon three times.
