haysmacintyre has announced the promotion of two more former trainees to the partnership. Kathryn Burton becomes a partner in the firm’s Charities Team, while Natasha Frangos makes the progression in the firm’s Corporate Team.
Burton and Frangos both joined haysmacintyre in 2000, and their promotion means over a third of the partnership joined the firm as graduate trainees. The firm also has a strong female presence in the partnership, 21%, compared to an average of 12% across the other top 50 accountancy firms (*) .
In her time at haysmacintyre Burton has worked exclusively with not-for-profit organisations, with the Breast Cancer Campaign and Woodland Trust both long-standing clients. As well as assurance work, Burton has also been involved in haysmacintyre’s growing internal audit practice.
Frangos acts for a wide range of corporate entities, and has developed a particular expertise in the media and entertainment and fashion sectors. She also specialises in transaction support assignments, including due diligence investigations and the preparation of financial forecasts and business plans.
Simon Wilks, Managing Partner of haysmacintyre, commented: “We are very proud of our graduate training programme, and the fact that 9 of 24 partners are home grown is testament to our ability to identify, nurture and fast-track talented individuals. It is up to us to ensure that our young partners are given all the guidance they need to continue their development. With nine partners aged 38 or younger we are building a reputation as a dynamic, forward-thinking firm, which has a succession plan already in place.”
