haysmacintyre is proud to sponsor the Accelerator Academy, a new training, mentoring and investment programme for innovative start-ups and early stage, high growth businesses in the Tech, Media/ Marketing and Telecoms/Mobile (TMT) space.
Adapted from several models successfully developed internationally, the Accelerator Academy will focus on commercial and corporate development support for the UK’s leading new entrepreneurs.
Welcoming the Accelerator Academy to London: Mayor of London Boris Johnson said:
“The Accelerator Academy is a much needed catalyst to support and develop very early stage, high growth businesses in the Capital. The use of successful entrepreneurs to educate emerging entrepreneurs gives this programme real credibility, and with expert training, mentoring and access to investment, London’s high growth start-up entrepreneurs are being given a real leg up”.
The Accelerator Academy utilises solid experienced mentors to deliver a carefully constructed syllabus. Every Academy Mentor has successfully exited at least one TMT business. With ambitious entrepreneurs learning from proven entrepreneurs with past experience of successful exits, supported by expert guest speakers, the Academy helps to accelerate growth and avoid common start-up hazards.

The Accelerator Academy plans to help launch / develop up to 100 high quality TMT companies per year. Accompanying the Accelerator Academy will be access to seed capital, through the Accelerator Fund and an investment syndicate.
Other organisations involved in the launch of the Academy are White Horse Capital LLP, NatWest, Start-Up Britain, City Hall and CASS Business School.
