Charity Finance Magazine has just published its 2009 survey of the charity audit scene. This is the 17th year of the survey and includes data from over 1,000 organisations. With such a large response the survey provides very useful and independent feedback on how charities view the different aspects of their auditor’s service delivery and sector expertise.
haysmacintyre is pleased to announce that its clients have again responded positively to the survey and the Firm has retained the best “Overall Service Award”.
This year 126 haysmacintyre clients responded to the survey, providing a fair sample from our client base. In brief the responses were:
98% said our charity expertise was good
98% said our commitment to the voluntary sector was good
98% said our overall level of service was good
Jeremy Beard, partner at haysmacintyre commented, “It is pleasing to note that of the 126 haysmacintyre clients responding, none reported any issues on our understanding of the charity sector. It is also extremely important to note that minimal issues were raised about gaining access to the haysmacintyre partner (or manager). The first is essential for any advisor in the sector, and the second recognises our service delivery ethos – partner involvement.”
