In the Charity Finance annual audit survey published today haysmacintyre has been rated amongst the top four firms for both ‘Overall Service’ and ‘Charity Expertise’ for the fifth year in a row. haysmacintyre is the only firm to have consistently been in the top four for all satisfaction measures.
Charity Finance Magazine 2010’s audit survey, an annual review which assesses the satisfaction with charity audit services, compiles data from approximately 1,000 charities. Respondents are asked to rate their auditors on a range of topics including overall service, charity expertise and commitment to the voluntary sector.
The haysmacintyre charities team achieved over 90% in every measure of the audit satisfaction survey. The haysmacintyre team also received one of the highest numbers of responses – over 60 - out of all of the 40+ firms participating.
Commenting on the results, Richard Weaver, Head of Charities at haysmacintyre said “The gratifying point is that despite growth in the team and the client base we manage to maintain a high level of satisfaction across our diverse not for profit portfolio. Clients want to know that there will be continuity in the people doing their work and consistency in the quality of that work and the survey results speak for themselves.”
haysmacintyre has ten dedicated not for profit partners and ten dedicated audit managers. It audits over 550 charities including 130 in the Top 3,000. The charities unit represents 40% of our firm’s annual fees. haysmacintyre has expertise in a number of distinct charity sectors with different requirements such as grant making, religious, membership, sports National Governing Bodies, care and health and the arts. haysmacintyre is also one of the leading advisers to the independent education sector with over 100 school clients.
