Club Secretaries seminar

Along with our event for Club Accountants, this is now a regular fixture in our annual calendar and a chance for us to update some of the senior people amongst our 20 or so clients in London Clubs. Around 40 of us assembled in the conference room in the middle of November.

can accountants demonstrate their worth in a recession

Last week I attended a briefing hosted by Lansons Communications to debate ‘How can modern accountants demonstrate that they are no longer just worthy and necessary but management’s greatest asset in riding out the recession?’ There was a diverse crowd of attendees at this round table event from CEOs and Managing Partners of accountancy firms and regulatory bodies to in-house and consultancy PR and marketing executives, which provided a wide ranging discussion.

designing demand at haysmacintyre

One of our clients (WorldFirst) spoke so enthusiastically about the benefits that they had received from the London Development Agency and Design Council’s Designing Demand programme – which helps senior management teams help their companies grow by using design - that I hardly hesitated to sign up haysmacintyre. We had also seen the research that shows businesses which use design as a key strategic driver are consistently more successful across practically every indicator of business performance including market share, growth, productivity, share price and competitiveness.
