The organisation was well worth it as we have been overwhelmed by the feedback we have received from clients and contacts who attended the event.
It would have been incredibly difficult to resist the charm and presence of Amanda as she captivated the audience retelling her inspiring, and at times tumultuous, journey in the business of fashion over the past 20 years. This was followed by 6 of our home team (who did a brilliant job!) showcasing a selection of her truly stunning designs in the Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which is currently in store. Amanda talked through each piece, giving a little insight to the audience into her creative mind and imagination. Speaking to the team that modelled her clothes after the event, it is easy to understand how Amanda has developed a reputation for making women feel special, empowered and confident through her designs.
The event was followed by lots of conversation over pear Bellini’s and canapés as Amanda and her team circulated our guests and answered questions. There was a fantastic buzz in the room. We saw the last guest off at gone 9pm with an exciting goody bag of gifts.
A few of us will be visiting the Amanda Wakeley store on Fulham Road this evening and I am sure that advantage will be taken of the 10% discount being offered! We hope to see some of our guests there also.
We were delighted with the success of this event and are keen to repeat similar events for our clients and contacts in the future. Thanks once again to all of the team at Amanda Wakeley for being an absolute pleasure to work with.
