Andrew Ball

Andrew has been with haysmacintyre since 1999 and a partner since 2007. 

He has a wealth of experience in advising hotels, pubs, bars, restaurants and private members clubs and acts for many famous brand names across London.  He also acts for golf courses and clients in the property sector.  He is Head of our Hospitality Team and an active member of the UK Tourism Society

As well as audit and tax compliance work, Andrew regularly provides those in the Hospitality sector with consultancy advice.  This includes corporate strategic planning and financial benchmarking.  Other work includes the building of complex financial models for clients that allow them to budget more accurately or consider a new acquisition more carefully.  He has also acted as reporting accountant on flotations on both the FTSE and on AIM.  His Team performs due diligence work for both new acquisitions and additional bank lending.  Other areas of technical expertise include IFRS and iXBRL. 

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys football, travelling and is an avid poker player.

Andrew is one of the key players in haysmacintyre's Entrepreneurs Team and specialises in advising start-ups, young entrepreneurs and serial entrepreneurs. He also advises many of these very successful people in their own right as private clients.

Anne Gregory-Jones

Anne Gregory-Jones

Anne is a partner in our direct tax team. Her early career was spent in general audit work with Coopers and Lybrand and this was followed by a period with two middle ranked city partnerships. It was during her early career with Coopers & Lybrand that she developed a particular interest in tax, initially in the corporate area and latterly involving more private client work.
